Where do I start, I met Dr. Asisat the beginning of 2022, I was scared to sleep, my anxiety was up and when I did fall asleep I would have episodes of sleep paralysis. Dr. Asisat knew exactly what was going on with me during my 1st appointment. We talked about my childhood, the relationship I was in at the time (with a narcissist) etc. she knew it was affecting me mentally and I needed healing. I was scared to take medications at that time. 1 year later 2023 i got worse, I had constant anxiety, depression, to the point I couldn't cope and i couldn't sleep. Dr. Asisat immediately got me in for an appointment, she prescribed me meds that she knew would help, she provided talk therapy as well and she told me to trust her and the process and promised me I will be okay. Dr. Asisat met with me 1x a week for 6 months because she knew I was scared. She made herself available via phone and responded promptly to me when I was in crisis. Dr. Asisat truly showed me compassionate and empathetic care. I am forever grateful for her she is truly God sent ❤️
Hanan Health has been extremely helpful to me. I was referred by a friend that benefitted from using their services. Asisat is super down to earth and easy to talk to about everything going on in your life. I definitely look forward to seeing her each time, as she is willing to joke around with you, be a listening ear, and provide feedback when you ask for it. She's extremely knowledgeable, so you can ask questions about medications, tests, etc, and she provides an easy to understand explanation. It's easy to set up an appointment, and to be seen quickly, rather than having to wait a long time to see other providers. She has been very flexible with appointments, whether it's having one in person or virtually, if needed. In between visits, when I reach out, I get a message back quickly. She wants to make sure she is treating the person individually, understanding people are different and explains why she chooses a particular route for you. I'd recommend her to anyone.
I was referred to Asisat by my therapist and I could not be happier to have found her! I have seen Psychiatrists for the last 20 years and finally felt that my concerns were heard. I would start and stop medications because of negative side effects and Asisat took the time to really listen to my concerns. She took into account my previous medication history and worked with me to create a plan I was comfortable with. It has only been 2 months and I am calm, hopeful and looking forward to reaching my overall health goals! I highly recommend her!
